If you are a salesperson who wants to remain relevant, it takes some work in order to be aware of the constantly evolving business lingo of the times. The next time you are looking at your corporate presentation, do so while watching a business channel. Bloomberg offers great selections for watching recorded episodes (or even catch them live) on Apple TV or other device, and get caught up on today's business language.
For example, incorporating words like "stakeholders", "computer science", "big data", "machine learning", "Artificial Intelligence (AI)," "business envioronment", "strategy", "growth" and "risks" are some that you will often hear used by Fortune 500 CEOs.
Some are new, others not so much. Regardless, if you are in business, there's a language for your craft. Start practicing using your craft's lingo.
